When you think of Whitney Houston you cannot help but think of her husband. She was married to singer bobby brown for decades in a highly publicised marriage that was not positively perceived. Brown came from a simple family and as a young man he always wanted to achieve great things. He had a talent and passion for singing and this he knew would one day be his ticket to fame and fortune. As it turned out Brown became a successful singer and by his side he had a beautiful woman who also happened to be a renowned singer. Together with Whitney he had the life that many men admired but this was not to last. Life for Brown started taking a turn when he became addicted to drugs. His career suffered a great blow and his marriage was on the rocks as the drugs affected the relationship he had with his wife. Brown sat back and watched as his hard earned career came tumbling down and as the media did not leave him alone. He still tries to remain clean but his drug addiction has been a long journey.
I made a really good friend a few years ago, we met online through some art communities and ended up hanging out and getting on very well. She is kind of crazy, in the best of ways, and she is very creative. She has sort of weird taste in men, so I guess you could say she is odd. She has the craziest memories for parts of movies – whether it is people or an obscure line, she is sure to remember it. I remember being over at her apartment once, we were just hanging out, and she was reading all about Mickey Rourke plastic surgery. She has a thing for the guy, as in, how he is now. I guess he does have a kind of rough and tugged appeal, but he is not really my type. If anything he is more attractive to her now in his current state than he ever was as a “heart throb” of the 80s. She used to have a website devoted to him but since took it offline because of life business.
